The grab bucket utilizes a hydraulic guide system, with opening and closing controlled remotely via a remote control.
All parts are laser-cut using a CNC plasma machine, with assembly positions machined on a CNC lathe and milling machine. The welding joints are made using high-strength welding rods, ensuring a highly durable and quality product delivered to the customer.
The grab bucket operates based on potential energy, opening and closing through the weight of the bucket and the cargo being loaded or unloaded, without using a motor or other mechanical mechanisms like pumps or motors for drive transmission.
This system is used for bulk cargo handling at the Long An International Port.
The grab bucket, with its large capacity, is oversized for transportation and must be disassembled for transport using specialized vehicles to the port.
Once at the port, the Sơn Tùng team reassembled the grab bucket and successfully completed the final handover and testing at Long An Port.
